Coronavirus precautions are being taken to protect and safeguard our patients which includes using existing universal precautions, chemically cleaning between patients according to CDC guidelines.
In addition, being a member of the American Dental Society and Illinois Dental Society allows us to stay up to date as new guidelines and information is updated.
You have long been a part of my patient family, and as part of my family, I have added additional protocols and measures to keep you safe. We have streamlined the check-in process, removed any unnecessary materials, and placed plastic barriers in the waiting room in order for you to feel at ease. You may sit individually, remaining 6 feet apart, or if you prefer, you may wait in your car and call upon arrival. Please bring your mask to your appointment.
We are carefully cleaning and disinfecting the reception room, treatment rooms, light switches, and door handles with professional, hospital-grade chemicals. We have also added a filtration devices for the office. Temperatures will be taken and you will be asked to fill out some screening questions before treatment. I will be allowing more time between patient appointments to minimize social contact.
We are also monitoring staff for temperatures daily and screening for COVID symptoms. Anyone who is sick with COVID symptoms, we ask that you reschedule your appointment. As a reminder, we would not be treating patients if we did not feel safe. As always, I have treated each of you as individuals and have cared about you personally, so I am asking that while in the office, please help keep everyone safe with continued social distancing, hand washing, and mask wearing. While under treatment, I will have you take your mask off only during the treatment phase.
If you have symptoms of COVID or are diagnosed with COVID, please do not enter.
I have been missing all of your faces. Stay healthy and be safe. If you have any questions or concerns please give me a call at 708-802-8300.
